“The thief does not come except to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life,
and that they may have it more abundantly.”
JOHN 10:10
and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life,
and that they may have it more abundantly.”
JOHN 10:10
Those who hunger and thirst after Righteousness – Christ – will be filled. Thus, the one who is filled is never hungry or thirsty. So on the one hand I want to know the Lord and my desire for Him increases day by day; but it is not the desperate search of a hungry or thirsty man who is fainting and wasting away.
I am full of Him because He fills me. There is my “Life, and Life more abundantly.” My Life is not in what He gives me, but in Who He is.

Accepting Jesus Christ in our life makes it complete. We don’t ask for more because God makes our life full and supplies all we need. The only thing that we must do is to believe in Him faithfully, and pray always . In prayer we talk to God and in there we listen to His voice. In praying we worship Him. And through this, we develop a right relationship with Him. Glory to God!
tk u Lord Jesus!! THANK youLord Jesus!!! more of you, less of the flesh….Thank you Lord Jesus
I need him, yes, I need him……….every second…..I need him……look my way my saviour…..I trust in you

May we remember its Him alone, not Him plus stuff. I was taught materialism when it comes to this verse and I always was wondering why my supply wasn’t what I thought it should be or what others had, based on this verse and what I was taught. It could make a new believer or ignorant believer assume God is a respecter of persons. I come to realize that life more abundant meant His life more abundant in me and the more of His life I have the less of my life there will be. False shepherds have a way of twisting scripture to suit what they want and the sheep are malnourished and falling away and perishing. Praise the Lord we have a Good Shepherd, One that will not harm us, but gives us His Life more abundant!
Thank you Chip for continually putting us at the foot of the cross and in the presence of Christ. May the Lord continue to give you Life more abundant for teaching Truth and being His witness. When good seeds are planted in rich soil they bring forth a healthy Vine that produces much fruit. More seeds multiply to bring more fruit. Its His Life in the vine and the fruit that sustains us forevermore.
AMEN. Jesus All of God is my all
Jesus came, and has shown us all how that the Abundant Life is contingent upon our obedience to God’s Word. This, not material things, in and of themselves, is the life that God wishes for all of us. It is the best life possible. And it brings to us the greatest joy and happiness now and forever. He knew in the very depths of His heart, mind, spirit, and soul that without constant prayer to God, His Father, His connection to “Life Itself” was broken. The Spirit, or Life of God is in all goodness. And as anyone pursues a life of True Goodness, not in their own strength, but in harmony with God’s Will; their life will be like a sweet fragrance that is both pleasing and most acceptable to God. May nothing but wholehearted devotion, a life of purity in motives and actions, and true goodness be our living sacrifice to God now and always. Let us hunger and thirst for more of Jesus, the Living Word, to guide and direct us.
