open his eyes that he may see.’ Then the LORD opened
the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold,
the mountain was full of horses and chariots of
fire all around Elisha.”
2 KINGS 6:17
Denying the existence of the adversary will not make him disappear. We acknowledge and admit that there is a real enemy, a real spirit of Antichrist, that is out to destroy the Remnant and hinder the Testimony of Jesus. We also acknowledge and admit that more often than not, this spirit of Antichrist seems to get the advantage over us.
Even so, the issue is not the enemy. We may look at the enemy, study him, and build an entire movement around different ways to fight him. We can write books and hold seminars on “spiritual warfare.” But when we look out from the mountain, what do we really see? Here is the difference between those who overcome and those who are defeated: it is not in their ability to fight, but in their ability to SEE, and this seeing is not of themselves, but is of God.
Dear brother. Be blessed. The body of Christ need such truth. I fully agree. The danger to “learn” tactics against the ennemy is not bad. At least to understand. But great is the danger for those who then think it is thanks to their own power. They surely will be defeated.
But for those who are able to see the victory before the battle has even started. They will surely win.
God bless you and all thosenwhonhave ears to ear.
Bro. Richard
Jesus IS our victory! Jesus is ALL we need. He is our girdle of Truth. He is our breastplate of righteousness, He is the Gospel of peace. He is the author and founder of our faith. He is the Word on which we stand……He is ALL we need.
Praying for you and your family at this time, Chip and Karla. Love you!
Clare
AMEN sister Claire!!! May we all grasp this precious Truth!!!
Chip,
You have seen the Light and have tasted of His goodness and your victory has already been won!!!!
As we remember our brother’s and sister’s who are going through trial’s and tribulation’s of battle,
He always gives us what is needed and that is Himself in all fullness and power. Belief, faith and prayer
is all we have left to do and we are honored to do so for all who are being tested at this hour.
May all the blessings of Christ come your way brother Chip!!!!! Thank you for your faithfulness!!
Sherri, I agree with you in all that you have said! Amen…….I repeat Sherri’s words, Thank you for your faithfulness, Chip!!
Brother Chip like Elisha your eyes are opened and you have seen victory in your family difficult time and it will be a thing in the past. I admire your honesty by telling us you too face difficulty and only Jesus can bring you victory. Praise the Lord.
Kim
Chip, read this quote from T.Austin Sparks this morning. Seem to be getting this message everywhere I look. Trusting the Holy Spirit to open my eyes and SEE!!! Thanks for your words. Lani
“This ordinary mind of man, at its best, is another mind. This will of man, at its best, is another will. You never do know what lies behind your motives until the Holy Ghost cleaves right down to the depths of your being and shows you. You may put your feelings and desires into the most devout terms. You may, like Peter, react to a Divine suggestion, “If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me”, and say, “Not my feet only, but also my hands and my head”; but it is only self coming up again—my blessing. I want the blessing, and so miss the whole point the Master is trying to teach. ‘I am trying to teach you self-emptying.’ He might have said, ‘and you are laying hold of every suggestion of mine for self-filling, to get; and I am trying to say, Give, let go”
Please pray that God will open my eyes to see those who are with us and that He will teach me what to pray in each circumstance.
Amen@
It is true that we have an adversary that prowls around like a roaring lion, but we also have to realize that we cannot give him any glory as Christians often do by chasing demons all over the place
